wedgeantilles asked: I haven't really come up with anything yet, just know it'd be cool to do something about Star Wars! It doesn't have to be like In-Universe, it can just be about Star Wars in general. I just have to be able to do research and persuade people why the issue is important.

Pale Blue Dot
mission-to-mars:
I’m really enjoying Carl Sagan’s Pale Blue Dot. When he describes the Jovian planets one by one, with detailed captivating facts about their satellites, for instance Titan, Oberon or Trition, when and how they were discovered, it seems as if you were in a spatial trip through the outer part of the solar system with Sagan presenting these world of hidden wonders.
I wish it could...

ALib: Who's Ernest Shackleton? I saw we have his birthday on the "upcoming events" calendar.
Me: Ernest Shackleton was an Irish explorer of Antarctica in the early 20th century. He's most famous for his 1914-1916 Endurance expedition, where he sailed 800 miles and crossed uncharted mountains to save his crew after their ship was wrecked. The really remarkable thing is that not a single man from the Endurance died.

Remembrance Week- Message from the Administrator →
On this Day of Remembrance, as we honor our fallen heroes with tributes and public ceremonies, I will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. Across the country, flags at NASA Headquarters and the NASA centers will be flown at half-mast in memory of our colleagues lost in the cause of exploration. The legacy of those who have perished is present every day in our...

Brief clips of Gus Grissom, Ed White II and Roger Chaffee being interviewed on the dangers of space flight.
Is this the recording of Chaffee’s voice that you mentioned before was so hard to find?
